What is your maximum table size?
Our largest table you can book is for 6 guests.
It is possible to hire the restaurant out for exclusive use for groups of 16-20 guests do drop us an email with your details and we can put a package together for you.

Do you cater for Vegetarians & Vegans?
We can cater for most dietary requirements, all we ask is that you let us know when booking as changes to the menu cannot be made on the night. All allergens are present in the kitchen but we do our utmost to ensure these are kept separate, do make us aware of any allergies you have as Chapters serves a set menu only and alternatives are not available without prior notice.

How often do you change your menu
We change our menu approximately every 6 weeks. If you would like to see the menu before your visit to mention when booking and it will be sent to you in advance.

Is there onsite parking?
There is no parking at the restaurant however after 6pm on street parking throughout Hay-on-Wye is free and we are only a 5 minute walk away from the main car park on Oxford Road.

Do you allow children?
We allow children as young as 12 in the restaurant. Please be aware that we do not offer a children’s menu and a seat in the restaurant is a fixed price regardless of age. All children should be supervised by an adult at all times to avoid any potential disruptions to other guests. We do not allow babies and toddlers in the restaurant.

Do you allow dogs?
Sadly due to the size of the restaurant we do not allow dogs (except guide dogs) this is to avoid any upset from fellow diners as not everyone loves dogs as much as we do.

Is there a dress code?
No, please wear whatever you are comfortable in.
